When creating a sleek layered bun it is always important to keep your clients head and body shape in mind. For instance, do they look better with a lower or higher bun? The bun placement is very important in making the hairstyle look balanced to their own proportions.
The products I am using in the video are:
Laque Dentelle Hairspray from Kerastase | This is a light, flexible hairspray that is fused with a Vita Ciment Complex. It allows me build the hairstyle without damaging the hair.
1 Large Donut Sponge | I use the sponge as the base of the bun.
T3 Featherweight Blow-Dryer | I use the blow dryer to lock the hairstyle into place and give the hairstyle a clean finish.
1″ Flat Iron | I used the GHD 1″ Eclipse Flat Iron to keep the different sections of the bun extra sleek.
