When creating a modern layered abstract bun it is always important to keep your clients head and body shape in mind. For instance, where should you place the bun to best complement your client? The bun placement is very important in making the hairstyle look balanced and proportional.
The products I am using in the video are:
Laque Dentelle Hairspray from Kerastase | This is a light, flexible hairspray that is fused with a Vita Ciment Complex. It allows me build the hairstyle without damaging the hair.
1 Large Donut Sponge | I use the sponge as the base of the bun. To achieve the abstract shape, cut the sponge open and re-roll it up into a cylinder shape. Then, sew it up so it doesn't come unrolled.
T3 Featherweight Blow-Dryer | I use the blow dryer to lock the hairstyle into place and give the hairstyle a clean finish.
1″ Flat Iron | I used the GHD 1″ Eclipse Flat Iron to keep the different sections of the bun extra sleek.
