Christina’s Character

Christina is a New York native who moved to California seven years ago in pursuit of acting. An aspiring actress with a lot of talent, Christina is fluent in Spanish and some French. She loves to sing and dance.

Inspiration for her look:

Current street fashion is all about short hair! She had very fine hair fabric and I wanted to bring her hair to life. I wanted to create volume on the missing bone areas. This cut was perfect for her because she has gorgeous full lips and rich brown eyes.
Target color process: Medium ash-brown for her base. This color enhances the olive skin tone. Medium caramel tones for her highlights to bring out her pretty brown eyes.

Kerastase Home Care:

For her shampoo we recommended Bain Volumactive with no conditioner. To protect and volumize her hair I usedVolumeactive Mousse. The tools I used are the Bio-ionic blow dryer and the Thermal brush. To give her natural volume I Start by setting the blow dryer on high heat when her hair is wet. Then I continue with medium heat until completely dry, and finish it with a cold shot from the button on my blow dryer. This will give her an extremely natural volume. I use a flat iron on the ends and Wa La!

Yvette’s Character

Yvette is a California native, born and raised in Bellflower. An aspiring actress with a lot of character, Yvette was the life of the party who made our photo shoot great fun. Her hobbies include singing, dancing and watching ice hockey. For one year, Yvette served in the United States Navy as a dental technician. When her service was complete, she started to pursue her dream, which is acting. Her biggest accomplishment, she says, is her daughter, Aurora Rose.

Inspiration for her look:

Yvette’s hair type is medium course and naturally wavy. I chose a blunt cut with a graduated bob to give Yvette a more modern look. This is a geometric hairstyle inspired by the 1960s and 1970s, and is currently one of the most popular trends.
Target color process: Warm chocolate brown no Ammonia color and finish with our Red Carpet Ready Hair treatment.

Kerastase Home Care:

To restore the health of her hair I recommended Bain Nutri Thermique. For her conditioning treatment I recommended Chronologiste.
